My Knight Frank
Knight Frank office:

The third annual Knight Frank conference titled "Warehouse market: Portrait of an ideal tenant and landlord" will take place on the 20th of September in the Renaissance Hotel, Moscow.

27 August 2007

Focusing predominantly upon the theme of effective interaction between property owners and tenants, the conference will address many topical issues relating to development and property management on the Russian and international industrial real estate markets. Leading international specialists from Knight Frank's UK and Singapore offices will be present to share their experiences in the industry and answer questions pertaining to issues facing large international and Russian warehouse owning companies. From the Knight Frank Russia and CIS office Dmitry Gerastovsky, deputy director of the industrial department, will deliver case-study examples using current existing projects, while Vadim Prozorov, director of the industrial department, will be discussing the current market situation.

In terms of development and investment the industrial market in Russia has incredible potential. There are many prime class properties that are expected to be available in the next 2-3 years in Moscow, St Petersburg, and other large cities in Russia. Unlike Western Europe, where the industrial properties market is currently in recession, the Russian market is experiencing a period of rapid growth and is an attractive place for investments, not only for Russian investors and developers, but also for large international companies.

"We are confident, that the demand for high-quality warehouses in Russia will remain strong over the coming years. The global trend of targeting the needs of end-consumers at the very early stages of construction planning is started to appear on the Russian market”, says Roman Bourtsev, Partner at Knight Frank Russia and CIS.
