.jpg) Knight Frank Russia and CIS, part of the Big Five consulting companies on the Russian and CIS’ real estate markets, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeremy Oates to the role of the Managing Director.
Mr.Oates has been involved in real estate business for over 24 years. He has been working in the international field for over 16 years having gained significant experience within the emerging markets of Asia and the Middle East, as well as in Europe and the United Kingdom.
Before his appointment as Managing Director of Knight Frank (Russia and CIS) Office, Mr.Oates has held senior roles in large international companies, being the Director of Asset Management for HSBC’s first REIT in the UAE, Managing Director of Cushman and Wakefield in Korea, International Director of Jones Lang LaSalle in Singapore and Thailand, and Director of Property Management for Colliers Jardine in Thailand.
Mr.Oates has a strong track record of working within the property and asset management field. He has also worked within property fund management relating to residential, commercial and retail markets.
Mr.Oates has a degree in Estate Management, another in Environmental Science and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, one of the United Kingdom’s real estate institutions.
Mr.Oates will be responsible for day-to-day management of the business. He will also be tasked with spearheading the company’s success in Russia and CIS by developing business strategies to build on Knight Frank’s presence, while driving development in new regions.
