From 2000 to 2005 he was responsible for key client accounting in the office lettings department of Cushman & Wakefield in Toronto, Canada.
At Knight Frank Adam will focus on account management for corporate occupier clients, developers and the growth of these business lines for Knight Frank across Russia and the CIS.
Andrey Petrov, Knight Frank’s partner, who supervises Office Agency Services and Business Development in Russia and the CIS, points out a new trend currently observed in the market – an increasing number of large-scale multi-use projects. ‘New developments in Moscow are growing larger, more complex and professional. Growing competition results in a shift in the key roles in the office market. The market is gradually becoming more client-oriented, and potential tenants’ requirements are no longer limited to high development quality. For rapidly growing Russian and international companies another important factor that increases the marketability of Grade A and B projects is professional advice in letting and sales transactions.’
‘In contrast to the office markets of Central and Eastern Europe, Russia has a great growth potential. Many large companies who successfully operate in Europe are interested in further expansion and come to seek office space in Moscow and Russia’s large regional cities. Compared to their Russian counterparts they have clear cut requirements to transaction schemes that should meet their corporate standards. The task of international consultancies such as Knight Frank is to meet their expectations and tailor these requirements to the Russian market’ with a high level of professional service, explains Adam Sheriff Scott, Director of Leasing and Corporate Client Group within its Office Agency Service department at Knight Frank.
