New Appointments in Residential Department

Ekaterina Thain, Partner, Director of Residential, resigns after 6 years of successful performance at Knight Frank. Igor Roganovich becomes the Head of Residential at Knight Frank. Alla Prokhina is appointed the Head of Country at the Residential department of Knight Frank.

Ekaterina Thain joined Knight Frank in 2004, the year Knight Frank penetrated the Russian market. Her solid managerial experience helped her to form a very professional team that could provide services in the sphere of elite residential real estate in four main directions: city property, country house property, international property, property development. Thanks to efficient performance of the residential department, Ekaterina Thain became a partner of Knight Frank in 3 years, and in 2008 she joined the company Board of Directors. Ekaterina Thain is leaving her position and delegating her work to a professional team of Knight Frank’s residential department.

Ekaterina Thain: ‘It was a pleasure to work at Knight Frank. It is undoubtedly one of the best employers in real estate not only in Russia but around the world. The company’s shareholders trusted me and offered me a position of a Director of the Residential Department. At that moment I had a 15-year experience in the sphere of marketing and sales and also some personal experience in working with the property in Russia and overseas. However I didn’t have professional experience in the property segment. Nevertheless they trusted me and gave me an opportunity to set up my team, work and develop in this direction. I am proud of the achieved results and delegate my work to very experienced and talented team’.

Igor Roganovich become the Director of Residential department of Knight Frank. Igor joined the company in 2006 as a senior consultant and he was promoted to the position of the associate director of Strategic Consulting Department. Heading residential and hotels group, Igor Roganovich was responsible for professional support of company’s clients in strategic questions of investing in real estate, development and optimization of project concepts, business planning, and networking with architectural offices and hotel chains. Under Igor’s management, the group had completed more than 120 projects, including 70+ projects in city and country houses residential real estate. The geography of completed consulting projects include Moscow, Moscow region, St. Petersburg, South of Russia, Urals Kaliningrad, as well as Ukraine, Bulgaria, Croatia and Montenegro. As the director of Residential department Igor Roganovich will be responsible for the development of company’s business in the sphere of luxury city, country houses and international property, networking with developers and customers.

Alla Prokhina joined Knight Frank team as the Head of Country Houses at the Residential department. Alla is one of the leading specialist in the country houses segment with a 10 years working experience. Alla was responsible for conducting transactions on selling, buying and lease of country houses property, conducting marketing programs and selling objects, consulting clients about the market situation. As a project manager Alla implanted interaction with many elite villages in the Moscow region, such as “Podushkino-town”, “Nikolino”, “Doville”, “Rublevo-2” and other. Alla is responsible at Knight Frank for country houses department development, which includes networking with customers and real estate marketers.
